Chet makes the best of this unusual pairing with Houston-based pianist Joe LoCascio on this recording of all original tunes. Most of the LP is "Windom Hill" - style New Age Music. Chet shines on the 2 ballads, but on the upbeat tunes, he gets lost in a sea of synthesizers. On Nicholas, Baker sounds good as LoCascio drops the New Age sound for a more traditional arrangement. The highlight is For Amanda. In the clip here, you will hear Chet whispering through the pretty melody, then he hits a high, triumphant note in the middle of the tune.
