A Sign Of The Times
Joe Pass
Just like on Bud Shank's Michelle and California Dreamin', Dick Bock wastes the talents of great jazzmen to create an LP of commercial sludge.  This time the victim is the great jazz guitarist, Joe Pass. The "groovy" cover should give the listener an indication of the dated music that lies within. However, Baker and Pass try to make the best of it, and you end up with a few tracks that are somewhat listenable. "Dindi" and "Softly as I Leave You" came out nice.
