In Milan
Chet Baker
Chet swings with an all-Italian band. This is Chet's last significant recording until Chet Is Back, 2 years later. The arrangements are tight, the solos are clean and crisp. With Chet's long, swinging solo, the Line for Lyons found here may be better that his earlier versions with Mulligan or Freeman. The two sax players sit out the last two tracks, so we get to hear more Chet, especially on the one ballad on the album, My Old Flame.
