Chet Baker & The Boto Brazilian Quartet
Chet Baker
Another "smooth jazz" outing with Pentoja, similar to their parings in the late 80's. Chet brings warmth to some rather ordinary tunes, especially with his muted horn. By the end of the CD, all of the Pentoja tunes begin to sound like Arborway.

In the middle of all of this bland music is a lovely version of Forgetful. Chet does a nice vocal, but the highlight is a long, sweet solo on muted horn. It is one of the best recordings of that tune he ever made.
